Constellation 1
Katja Loher’s installation consists of 7 x 7 cm video spheres emerging from the wall interpreating planets in the exact order and relative distances of our solar system. |
Each sphere contains a moving microcosm — intimate worlds of color, rhythm, nature, and human presence — transforming the architecture into a suspended constellation.
By translating planetary structure into living video objects, the work connects cosmic scale with human emotion and perception. The spheres appear like floating planets or memories in orbit, inviting the viewer into a contemplative journey through space, time, and interconnectedness.
The installation creates a dialogue between scientific order and poetic imagination, where the universe becomes both map and metaphor.
Where does space end and imagination begin?
