At Galeriabeja, When Objects Dream brings together the practices of Abdulla P A and Katja Loher in a poetic dialogue between matter and immateriality. The exhibition unfolds as a choreography of light and shadow, where the visible and the invisible continuously shift roles.

Fragments of everyday life, weathered and recontextualized are activated through light, casting shadows that detach, expand, and transform. These shadows do not merely echo their sources; they become presences of their own, evoking spirits, memories, and latent narratives embedded within the materials. What appears static begins to breathe, as if the objects themselves were dreaming.

Through video, sculptural assemblages, and immersive installations, the artists explore how light can animate form and how absence can generate meaning. In this interplay, shadow becomes a medium of transformation—a threshold where objects transcend their physical boundaries and enter a realm of imagination.

When Objects Dream invites viewers to slow down and attune to these subtle metamorphoses, where the ordinary is re-enchanted and the overlooked is given new life.
