An evening of art, performance, and haute cuisine:
A collaboration with Abdulla P A (visual art), Jaime Lieberman (plankton dinner), Damiano Righetti (science), Miriana Ferrari and Maksym Petrashchuk (performance)

In an intimate and refined atmosphere, Galleria Sacchetti in Ascona became the setting for a special evening dedicated to contemporary art and the hidden beauty of marine ecosystems. PLANKTON MANIFESTO, the work of artist Katja Loher, came to life on the occasion of the exclusive dinner “Let’s Plunge into the Sea” — created for our loyal collectors and guests.
At the heart of the evening was Katja Loher with her fascinating video sculptures, in which poetry and technology merge into an immersive visual narrative. Her installations, inspired by the invisible world of plankton, entered into a harmonious dialogue with the culinary art of Chef Jaime Lieberman, who created a finely tuned menu centered on the theme of the sea specifically for this event.
The dishes — true works of art — took guests on a sensory journey in which taste, imagery, and movement blended in perfect balance. Another highlight of the evening was a live performance that transported the audience into an experience between dream and ecological awakening.
An unforgettable evening in which art touched the senses and the heart — once again demonstrating the power of creative dialogue between different forms of expression.

Anniversary Exhibition “Essenza” at Galleria Sacchetti, Ascona

To mark the gallery’s 40th anniversary, the artists Katja Loher (New York, Menorca, Zurich), Lea Lenhart (Düsseldorf), Rosalie Schweizer (Munich), and Panni Somody (Flims, Munich) are presenting works on the essential themes of life: sea, air, light, and identity.
