The choreography in Where Was the Color Green Born? reveals a group of futuristic workers attempting to maintain earth’s natural balance by performing an activity typically carried out by plants. Called photosynthesis, this process converts carbon dioxide and water into fuel and generates oxygen as a byproduct. In a glass sphere we observe workers collecting carbon dioxide and other gases with their butterfly nets and transform them into oxygen.
