Katja Loher: The Geometry of the Invisible
28 Feb – 26 April, 2026
Kunsträume Zermatt, Swiss Alps
For her second exhibition at Kunsträume Zermatt,
Katja Loher connects oceanic depths with alpine
heights. Her video sculptures and installations trace
the transformation of water: the sea becomes cloud,
the cloud turns to snow, snow crystallizes —
and returns as art.
At the center of the exhibition stands the hexagon,
a form of balance and efficiency found in snowflakes,
honeycombs, galaxies, and microscopic life.
Through luminous objects and moving images,
Loher interprets geometry not merely as structure,
but as a living, shifting system
