Collapsoscope, a spherical object produced with 3D milling in layers of MDF, is suspended from the ceiling. Blisters and vortexes that feature round openings contaminate the surface. Video screens, tiny video projectors and round mirrors that are hidden inside the object display the video inside and outside the sculpture.

Collapsoscope simulates micro society that manifests the battle of increasing the productivity but enlarging the market. The issue of the performed situation is not about how to make but how to “throw away” the products. What remains is a vacuum – a threatening state for all the members.

This new video-sculpture consists of both: an internal and an external perspective of a microcosm. In the interior of the sculpture, the camera zooms into the crowd and lands on the individual whose feelings and relationship becomes apparent. The blisters on the surface of the spherical sculpture burst and the video images crash on the walls.

Two openings in the front lead the eyes to the inside of the sculpture, where a kaleidoscope consisting of round mirrors reflect macro images in an endless space.
